The latest research from Sydney Units Cityscope shows that apartment sales in Sydney’s CBD have increased in total sales value in the last quarter. The last three months to April 2022 recorded 224 sales for a total of $784.6 million, an increase from the 261 sales for a total of $756.8 million recorded in the quarter to January 2022 but a decrease from the 318 sales for a total of $1.461 billion recorded in the quarter to October 2021.
The 12 months leading up to April 2022 recorded 1,393 sales for a total of about $3.915 billion, an increase from the 445 sales for a total of $691.3 million, for the same time period the year before.

- Lot 103, known as Unit 1901, at Opera Residences, 71 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 319 sqm, 4-bedroom penthouse apartment on the eastern half of level 19 with a 34 sqm car space for 2 cars, a car space of 16 sqm, both as a lock up garage, plus a storage area of 19 sqm, all on basement level 3, and an additional storage area of 3 sqm on level 2, which was bought for $27 million;
- Lot 104, known as Unit 1902, at Opera Residences, 71 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 295 sqm, 4-bedroom penthouse apartment on the western half of level 19 with a 35 sqm car space for 2 cars, a car space of 19 sqm, both as a lock up garage, a storage area of 8 sqm, all on basement level 2, and an additional storage area of 3 sqm on level 2, was bought for $26 million and
- Lot 102, known as Unit 2301, at King & Phillip Residences, 160 King Street, Sydney, a 351 sqm sub-penthouse comprising 296 sqm on the entire level 23 and 55 sqm plus a balcony on level 24, and a 60 sqm car space for 4 cars on basement level 3, which was bought for $17.95 million.
