Luxury Boutique Hotel For Sale

As the hotel market goes from strength to strength in Sydney a quite recent addition to the scene has been put on the market. The Kimpton Margot Sydney at 339 Pitt Street is for sale through CBRE Hotels on behalf of its Dubai owners.

The Kimpton Margot Sydney was transformed from the former Sydney Water Board building, a heritage Art Deco eight-storey office building, in 2015. The $150 million extensive internal refurbishment was completed in December 2015 and initially opened as The Primus Hotel Sydney. It was built by Ganellen to a Woods Bagot design.

The hotel is of a contemporary design comprising 172 guest rooms, a lobby bar, restaurant, rooftop bar, conference space and a rooftop swimming pool and gymnasium. The rooftop bar was refurbished in 2022. The ground floor includes a retail arcade and a series of courtyards with outdoor dining. Tenants include Cellar By Luke, Luke’s Kitchen, Pantry at Margot's and The Wilmot Bar.

The hotel last traded at $110 million in early 2021.
